L'Anse Creuse lost to Lakeview back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Lancers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.
Tiara Hyles made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Hyles was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Hyles wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Emma Liske, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
