Nokomis is a perfect 4-0 against Bunker Hill since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Redskins will look to defend their home field against the Minutemen at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Nokomis has four straight wins, Bunker Hill has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Nokomis proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Meridian 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redskins have posted since March 17th.

The team relied heavily on Nolan Herpstreith, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Keller, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases and one run.

Nokomis hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meridian struck out seven times.

Bunker Hill played against Litchfield on Wednesday and lost via forfeit.

Nokomis' win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Bunker Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything went Nokomis' way against Bunker Hill in their previous meeting on Tuesday, as Nokomis made off with an 11-0 victory. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
