Keene scored the most goals they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Souhegan Sabers by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that Keene have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Keene and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Souhegan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keene will take on Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oyster River's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Souhegan, they will square off against Laconia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Souhegan will be up against Laconia's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
