Lincolnton had won 11 straight home games dating back to last season and Tucker Robinette did his part to make it 12 on Friday. The Wolves breezed past the East Gaston Warriors to the tune of 72-42 thanks in part to Robinette, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 17 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. He is becoming a predictor of Lincolnton's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

Josiah Guyton was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 10 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He has also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Lincolnton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for East Gaston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Lincolnton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Salisbury at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
