Baseball Recap: Lewis-Palmer Drops Season-High Score on Palmer Ridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewis-Palmer). Everything went their way against the Palmer Ridge Bears on Tuesday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. With that win, the Rangers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Drew Boyarko made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Garrett Hennis was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Morgan, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Lewis-Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Palmer Ridge, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Lewis-Palmer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
