Football Recap: Ben's Ford Christian Skates Past Heritage Christian Academy with Ease

Ben's Ford Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 52-14 victory over the Heritage Christian Academy Warriors. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

Cameron Geraci and Daniel Lincoln certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Geraci gained 63 total yards and two touchdowns, while Lincoln rushed for 105 yards on only 14 carries. Lincoln's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.

The victory got Ben's Ford Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ben's Ford Christian will square off against Prairie View Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hebron Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Warriors will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
