After a string of six wins, South Tahoe's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fernley Vaqueros. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 55-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.
Despite the defeat, South Tahoe had strong showings from Esha Davis, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 16 points, and Oscar Mendoza, who posted six points in addition to six boards and three steals.
