Basketball Recap: Searcy Takes a Loss

Searcy suffered their biggest loss since January 21st on Tuesday. They came up short against the West Memphis Blue Devils, falling 52-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-47 back in January.

Searcy dropped their record down to 10-18 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for West Memphis, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Searcy will take on Batesville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Memphis, they are taking a road trip to face off against Paragould at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Memphis is facing Paragould at the right time seeing as Paragould is stuck on a 20-game losing streak.
