Dodd City has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 24 points or more this season.

Dodd City's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points per game. As for Ector, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-21.
