Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Eagles vs. South St. Paul Packers
After flying high against Robbinsdale Cooper on Monday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Kennedy Eagles wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result was an unpleasant reminder to them of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

South St. Paul was led to victory by Izzy Ulrick and Hayden Mikkelson. Ulrick had seven digs and two aces, while Mikkelson hit 75% for 19 digs, six kills, and three aces. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in hitting percentage.
Kennedy dropped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South St. Paul, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Kennedy will square off against Visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South St. Paul, they will challenge Two Rivers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. South St. Paul is facing Two Rivers at the right time seeing as Two Rivers is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
