Baseball Recap: Salem Greyhounds vs. Cave City Cavemen
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Salem ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Cave City Cavemen 5-4. This was payback for the Greyhounds, who suffered a 7-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
Kamden Turner spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
