Oxford entered their tilt with Leeds on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Greenwave an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Oxford's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Leeds, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford will face off against Pell City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leeds, they will take on John Carroll Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greenwave will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
