            Baseball Recap: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Murrieta Valley Nighthawks        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Great Oak, Temecula Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks, sneaking past  6-5. For the Golden Bears, this counts as revenge for the   4-3 victory the Nighthawks walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.

 Stafford Johnson was  excellent,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Taden Krogsgaard, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Temecula Valley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .536. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Temecula Valley's record now sits at 14-11. As for Murrieta Valley, their loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-18.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Temecula Valley beat the Nighthawks by a score of  5-3 on Tuesday.
