Baseball Recap: Bigelow Takes a Loss

If Bigelow was riding high fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Hector on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Perryville Mustangs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Bigelow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Perryville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Bigelow will venture away from home to challenge Fountain Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perryville, they will welcome Morrilton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Devil Dogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
