With a playoff win on the line, Sparkman rose to the challenge on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Huntsville Panthers 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Senators, who have now won four matches in a row.

Eden Parker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bella Mayfield was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Carly White, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Sparkman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Sparkman's win bumped their record up to 35-12-1. As for Huntsville, their loss dropped their record down to 27-14-3.

As of now, neither Sparkman nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
