Softball Recap: Mountain Pointe Pride vs. Lake Havasu Knights
Mountain Pointe's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Lake Havasu Knights 12-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pride needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Lauryn Chavez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
