Parkland lost to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spartans.

Parkland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13.

Parkland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Serina led the charge by getting 13 assists and five digs.

Parkland is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2-2.

Parkland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Penfield on the 13th. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Pope John Paul II on the 13th.
