Things were looking good for Santa Fe South after they put the first points on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Lutheran, falling 15-5. While the Saints didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 4-0 in the first period.

Santa Fe South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Rodriguez also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Ponca City never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on Midwest City with a sharp 8-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
