Fonda-Fultonville dropped their record down to 11-5 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots. The Valley Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

As for Broadalbin-Perth, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games.

For Broadalbin-Perth's part, they secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Blake Shields, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
