Baseball Recap: Wapahani Finds Home Field Redemption Against Eastbrook

There's no place like home for Wapahani, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Eastbrook Panthers 13-3 on Tuesday. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Kyle Anderson tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Eli Andrews was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentine James, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Wapahani was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastbrook only posted a batting average of .250.

Wapahani's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Eastbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Wapahani wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-2 victory against Eastern Hancock on the 17th. As for Eastbrook, they have also already played their next game, a 9-3 defeat against Southern Wells on the 16th.
