Basketball Recap: Campbell Comes Up Short

Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 78-67 to the East Prairie Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Camels of the 79-56 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for East Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell will square off against Bernie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Prairie, they will challenge South Pemiscot at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
