Soccer Recap: Mark Morris Comes Up Short

Mark Morris lost against Columbia River back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mark Morris Monarchs came up short against the Columbia River Rapids, falling 8-0. The loss was the Monarchs' first of the season.

Mark Morris now has a losing record of 0-1-2. As for Columbia River, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mark Morris will face off against Centralia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mark Morris' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Columbia River, they will square off against Heritage at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
