Softball Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

Surry Central was the 23-22 winner over Watauga when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Surry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Watauga, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Surry Central will host North Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watauga, they will face off against Hibriten at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
