Soccer Game Preview: Glenn vs. Bremen

Glenn hasn't had much luck against Bremen recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Glenn has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Glenn is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals on Monday, they were much more limited against East Noble on Thursday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Bremen's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Elkhart Christian Academy 2-1. Nathan Schnaible had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Bremen.

Bremen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Glenn suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Bremen in their previous matchup on Saturday. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
