Mora entered their tilt with McCurdy on Wednesday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They blew past the Bobcats 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Rangers/Rangerettes, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Cierra Benavidez and Justina Duran made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Benavidez kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Duran struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate, Benavidez went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Duran went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mora's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. As for McCurdy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Mora will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Rosa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.95 runs per game on average), something the Rangers/Rangerettes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McCurdy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mesilla Valley Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The SonBlazers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
