Recap: Rancho Christian Eagles vs. Valley View Eagles
The Rancho Christian Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Valley View 10-7. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Rancho Christian was the (much) better team in the second half.
Blake Nadler threw for 116 yards and a touchdown. Jonathan Alexander was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Fausto Atilano rushed for 90 yards.
Rancho Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Valley View, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Christian will square off against Canyon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley View, they will head out on the road to face off against Moreno Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Moreno Valley is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.
