Baseball Recap: Banquete Takes a Loss

Banquete kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 8-1 to the Rivera Raiders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Banquete saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

The win got Rivera back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Banquete will be taking part in a tournament against Porter at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. As for Rivera, they will take on London in a tournament on Thursday.
