Basketball Recap: Hulbert Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Hulbert Riders were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 35-29 to the Weleetka Outlaws. The match marked the Riders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hulbert's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Weleetka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Hulbert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-30 win against Porum on the 25th. As for Weleetka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-45 defeat against Gore on the 25th.
