Softball Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Eunice's offense. They lost 7-0 to the North Vermilion Patriots on Friday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Eunice saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryleigh Huckaby, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Eunice's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Vermilion, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Eunice will venture away from home to take on Breaux Bridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Vermilion, they will face off against Erath at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
