It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Highland Springs Springers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Cosby at home to the tune of 49-6. The win was familiar territory for Highland Springs who now have eight in a row.
Highland Springs has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.65 points. As for Cosby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Highland Springs will look to defend their home field on Friday against Oscar Smith at 7:00 p.m. Oscar Smith is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Cosby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
