Basketball Recap: Rice Memorial Takes a Loss

Rice Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Mt. Mansfield Cougars and fell 56-22. The game marked the Green Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rice Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mt. Mansfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rice Memorial will take on Burr & Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Mansfield, they will head out to square off against Colchester at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
