Three Lakes/Phelps had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Niagara Badgers on Thursday as they made off with a 12-2 win. Considering Three Lakes/Phelps has won 14 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Three Lakes/Phelps, bringing their record up to 16-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Niagara, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
