Basketball Recap: Johnsonville Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Jackson Eaddy and Terry Parrot

Johnsonville lost against Andrews back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Johnsonville Flashes received a blow as they fell 54-36 to the Andrews Yellowjackets.

Terry Parrot and Jackson Eaddy certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Parrot posted 11 points and four steals, while Eaddy had 11 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Parrot is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Takhari Ross, who earned five points and three steals.

Andrews' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kayden Dorsey, who posted six points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Vincent Rhue, who put up seven points and six rebounds.

Johnsonville's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Andrews, their record now sits at 3-4.

Johnsonville will venture away from home to square off against Green Sea Floyds at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andrews, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-27 win against Kingstree on the 14th.
