It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pickerington North can now relate to. They came up short against the Olentangy Orange Pioneers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-17.

Emma Pezzolla paced Pickerington North's offense, picking up nine kills. Pezzolla got some help from Madison Smith and her 14 assists. Smith also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rasherly Caceres, each putting up two.

Olentangy Orange's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Moore, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Moore has posted since October 2nd. Emma Cugino was another key player, getting 25 digs.

Pickerington North's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Olentangy Orange, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.
