Basketball Recap: Lexington Piles Up the Points Against Ben Lippen

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Lexington on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Ben Lippen Falcons out of the water with a 72-34 final score. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lexington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Izzy Saville, who posted nine points in addition to eight assists and five steals. Those eight assists gave Saville a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sydni Anderson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ben Lippen, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
