Basketball Game Recap: Clear Spring Blazers vs. Middletown Knights

Clear Spring lost against Middletown last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Clear Spring Blazers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 84-34 to the Middletown Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Knights are ranked 92nd).

Clear Spring has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. The win was the seventh in a row for Middletown, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

Clear Spring didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-49 loss against Berkeley Springs on the 18th. As for Middletown, they have also already played their next game, a 69-47 victory against South Carroll on the 18th.
