Basketball Game Preview: Caldwell Parish Spartans vs. Mangham Dragons

The Caldwell Parish Spartans will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Mangham Dragons at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Caldwell Parish took their match with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over LaSalle. The 42-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Mangham won against Tensas on Monday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Mangham blew past Delta Charter 55-30. The game marked the Dragons' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The win was the third in a row for Mangham, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Caldwell Parish, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
