Soccer Game Preview: East Chambers vs. Liberty

The East Chambers Buccaneers will venture away from home to challenge the Liberty Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Liberty heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when East Chambers took over last week. The Buccaneers walked away with a 4-2 victory over Hamshire-Fannett on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for East Chambers.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Liberty duked it out with Livingston on Tuesday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Lions 2-1.

East Chambers' record now sits at 8-6. As for Liberty, their record is now 5-9-1.

Everything went East Chambers' way against Liberty when the teams last played on February 6th, as East Chambers made off with a 4-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
