Volleyball Game Preview: Casteel Colts vs. Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions

The Casteel Colts will head out to face off against the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain Ridge took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Casteel, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Casteel made easy work of Basha and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colts.

Casteel's got stronger as the match went on, holding Basha to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Boulder Creek on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Casteel, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-11-1.

Casteel was able to grind out a solid victory over Mountain Ridge in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Do the Colts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mountain Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
