Volleyball Game Preview: De La Salle Spartans vs. Moreau Catholic Mariners

The De La Salle Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Moreau Catholic Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

De La Salle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Livermore by a score of 3-1. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Moreau Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colts.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

Moreau Catholic's win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for De La Salle, their victory bumped their record up to 23-12.

De La Salle came up short against Moreau Catholic when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 2-0. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
