Volleyball Game Preview: Laguna Creek Cardinals vs. Folsom Bulldogs

Laguna Creek hasn't had much luck against Folsom recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cardinals will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Laguna Creek comes in on nine and Folsom on six.

Laguna Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Monterey Trail by a score of 3-1.

Laguna Creek walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-12, 25-20.

Meanwhile, in Friday's Canine Competition, Folsom prevailed. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Sheldon on Friday.

The victory didn't come easy: Sheldon scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Laguna Creek pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Folsom, their victory bumped their record up to 29-9.

Laguna Creek came up short against Folsom when the teams last played back in March, falling 2-0. Can the Cardinals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
