Baseball Recap: Lindblom Takes a Loss

Lindblom was the 7-1 winner over Chicago Washington when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miguel Villegas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Lindblom's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Chicago Washington, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-9.

While Lindblom had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
