Baseball Recap: Oak Hills Takes a Loss

Oak Hills fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Sultana on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Sultans by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Sultans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

James Juarez and Connor Wagner did some serious damage despite the final result: Juarez went 2-for-5 with three RBI and one double, while Wagner went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Oak Hills' loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Sultana, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2-1 record this season.

Oak Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Burroughs on the 15th. As for Sultana, they have also already played their next match, a 15-3 victory against Serrano on the 15th.
