Softball Recap: Beaver Local Comes Up Short

Oak Glen hit Beaver Local with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Bears. The loss continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Golden Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Beaver Local saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brylee Curtis, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Beaver Local's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Oak Glen, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-8.

Looking ahead, Beaver Local will face off against Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Glen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
