Gardiner is a perfect 9-0 against Nokomis since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gardiner has eight straight wins, Nokomis has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Gardiner got the win against Lake Region by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Gardiner's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Nokomis lost 3-0 to Cony on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-10.

Gardiner's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Nokomis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Gardiner took their win against Nokomis in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
