Sandia Prep is a perfect 10-0 against Bosque since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Sundevils will venture away from home to face off against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sandia Prep is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cottonwood Classical Prep just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Coyotes. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sandia Prep couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Bosque faced St. Pius X in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bobcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sartans. Bosque have struggled against St. Pius X recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Sandia Prep's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-7-1. As for Bosque, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Sandia Prep took their win against Bosque in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sundevils since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
