Football Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shelton lost against Evergreen back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highclimbers fell 27-20 to the Plainsmen. The Highclimbers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Trevor Gott threw for 61 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Bennett Henry was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.

Malukai Turner-Hodges was nothing short of spectacular for Evergreen: he rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Baum, who threw for 214 yards and one TD.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Evergreen, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shelton is set to face off against their familiar foe Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Evergreen will take on rival Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
