Basketball Recap: Cloudcroft Bears vs. Carrizozo Grizzlies
Cloudcroft took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 62-17 win over the Carrizozo Grizzlies. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Thompkins almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds, while Pahl almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Dominic Cuilla, who earned three points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals.
