Soccer Game Preview: Glacier Peak vs. Monroe

The Glacier Peak Grizzlies will take on the Monroe Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glacier Peak is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Glacier Peak's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They beat Arlington by a goal, winning 1-0. Given Glacier Peak's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Arlington are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Monroe didn't have quite enough to beat Edmonds-Woodway on Friday and fell 4-3. The loss was Monroe's first of the season.

Glacier Peak's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Monroe, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Glacier Peak suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Monroe when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Can Glacier Peak avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
