Baseball Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kingwood Park Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 on Tuesday.

Splendora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Brewer, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Splendora's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Kingwood Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Splendora nor Kingwood Park have any future games scheduled.
